We live in the woods in Kentucky. It is wild here, even though there are farms and houses nearby. Most of the community are weekenders with boats in the lake down the hill. We are one of the few who live here all year around. Cats abandoned here seldom have long lives with everything from owls to coyotes to hunt them down, so our hearts were stricken when an apparently wild black and white cat showed up on the deck.
